What you need to know before booking

FORBIDDEN IS A SPECIAL EVENT THAT TAKES PLACE IN A PRIVATE RESORT ON ONTARIOS SOUTH COAST. TAKE THE TIME TO ENSURE THAT NOT ONLY DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT FORBIDDEN IS, BUT ALSO THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THE FULL TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND POLICIES OF THE EVENT, PRIOR TO REGISTERING.
REGISTRATION OPENS April 17, 2024 @ 7pm EDT.LIVE CHAT SUPPORT will be available from 6:30pm to 8pm EDT.(NOTE: Phone, Voicemails & Emails recieved during registration will not be responded to until next day.)

FORBIDDEN IS A LIMITED SPECIAL EVENT THAT RUNS AT THE POINT TENT & TRAILER RESORT.
GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED TO ENTER THE PARK. YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO ENTER.
ALL ADDITIONAL GUESTS MUST BE REGISTERED IN ADVANCE.
FORBIDDEN HAS A MINIMUM 3 NIGHT BOOKING.

All site reservations and special event fees require payment in full at the time of booking, including online, in person, or over the phone. Prices and availability are subject to change at any time. Online transactions are subject to confirmation and adjustment. Promotions, discounts, and coupons can not be combined. Please contact park office for most current pricing and details in advance.

SITE CHECK IN TIME IS 2:00PM OR AFTER – SITE CHECK OUT TIME IS 11:00am SHARP!
GUESTS MUST LEAVE SITE CLEAN AND FREE OF GARBAGE AND DEBRIS.
A MINIMUM CHARGE OF $200.00 + THE SITE CLEAN FEE WILL BE CHARGED AND DUE IMMEDIATELY FOR ANY SITES LEFT DIRTY.
Reservations not claimed by the time the park closes on the arrival date of the reservation will be considered a “no show” and forfeit the right to claim their site.
A cancellation, change, and/or administrative fees may be applied where needed.

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ ALL DOCUMENTATION BEFORE REGISTERING AS THIS WILL SPEED UP YOUR CHECK IN PROCESS. UPON SIGNING YOUR WAIVER & RELEASE OF RESPONSIBILITY, PRIOR TO ENTERING FORBIDDEN, YOU AGREE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND ALL THE RULES, POLICIES AND THE CAMPER COVID CODE OF CONDUCT. THE PARK RULES HAVE BEEN PUT IN PLACE WITH THE INTENTION OF PROVIDING AN ENJOYABLE CAMPING EXPERIENCE FOR YOU AND OTHER PATRONS IN THE PARK.

Indemnification and Liability
Campers, guests, and visitors acknowledge that this is a campground and as such recognize that there are inherent dangers such as tree roots, rocks, and other hazards, which could cause tripping or falling. Campers, guests, and visitors shall indemnify and hold harmless The Point Tent & Trailer Resort and its owners, and agents from and against any loss, illness, damage, injury,  claim, cost, and expense (including legal expense at all court levels) arising out of, or connected with their use of The POINT Tent & Trailer Resort. It is expressly agreed that all personal property or equipment now or hereafter placed, stored, or located on the premises shall be the sole responsibility and at the sole risk of campers, guests, and visitors, and any damage, loss, theft, or destruction thereof shall be borne by campers, guests, and visitors and shall be their sole responsibility. Violation of any of the above policies may result in expulsion from the property without refund, denial of future reservations, and/or membership privileges, and criminal prosecution.

Under certain circumstances late check-ins are available. All late check-ins must be arranged in advanced during office hours. Late check-ins are subject to a $25 fee as a result of engaging an agent after the park office has closed. Please contact the park office for more information.

After hour check-ins will not be permitted without official confirmation from a reservation agent.

PET POLICY
The POINT is a pet friendly resort, for “Camp Ready”, well behaved dogs & cats at no extra charge.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your pet is “Camp Ready” prior to bringing them to the park.
All pets must be on a leash 100% of the time while in the park, with exception of when you are using the off leash area.
Not everyone in the park is an “animal person”. You must be respectful, present, and responsible for your pet at all times.
Pets are limited to cats and dogs and a maximum of 2 per site.
You must clean up after your pet at all times, and dispose of your dog’s waste in the red garbage bins at the front of the park.
Only basic cabins permit pets. Please check prior to booking.
For the benefit of all guests, no loud, aggressive, or overly protective dogs will be allowed.
The POINT staff reserves the right to terminate a stay without refund of any guest whose pet(s) are considered a nuisance.
Pets must have current vaccinations and be in good health. Certification from a veterinarian of vaccinations must be available upon request.

In making The POINT even more secure a gate and security system has been installed. The primary site holder must obtain a security gate FOB to use during their stay. As is standard practice, $5 is required for the purchase of the gate FOB. This FOB is non-refundable however, on your next visit, simply return the FOB and we will activate it for your next visit at no charge.
Additional site vehicles can simply purchase a FOB as required.
Broken, forgotten, or lost FOBs are replaced at cost of $10.

EVENT CAPACITY LIMITS

If the capacity for Forbidden has been reached, registration will pause and all remaining requests will move to the WAIT LIST process. At such time, any ticket holders that did not get to reserve will be moved to the top of the wait list. Although unexpected, if in the situation where the government authorities adjust capacity numbers before the event, we will manage the increased or decreased capacity in the order in which people were registered. Please note that there is a limit of a maximum of 6 persons, per site, per registration.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancellations are subject to, but not limited to, the following conditions:

All cancellations prior to July 1, 2024 are subject to a $20 Admin Fee plus The POINT cancellation fee of $8.95 + 8% of the total amount of the reservation.

Additional camper cancellations prior to July 1, 2024 are subject to $12 Admin Fee plus the POINT's cancellation fee of $8.95 + 8% of their Site Fee.

Reservations CANNOT be transferred.

All Fees are non-refundable after July 1, 2024.

Changes to reservations after July 1, 2024 are subject to a transaction fee of $12.

FORBIDDEN capacity is limited. Organizers reserve the right to close reservations without notice.

Duties of Primary Site Holder

The Primary Site Holder is responsible for the registration of all site guests and full payment of the reservation. Complete and up-to-date contact information IS REQUIRED for all guests and is mandatory for registration. Please have this information ready before registering. For security reasons, changes are permitted ONLY by the PRIMARY SITE HOLDER and it is their responsibility to communicate any information about the reservation to their registered site guests.

The Primary Site Holder also accepts full responsibility for unkempt or site damages during the event for themselves and their guest(s). This includes, but is not limited to, picnic table damage, trees, holes, moving fire rings, overloaded electrical, candle wax, pet debris, leftover food, etc. The Point Tent & Trailer Resort reserves the right to charge a minimum fee of $375.00 up to 14 days after check-out. If any damages exceed this amount, all direct & related costs will be billed to the Primary Site Holder who agrees to immediately pay in full. The Primary Site Holder also agrees and is held responsible to pay any additional monies incurred by The Point Tent & Trailer Resort for any actions or lack thereof including, but not limited to, late fees, legal fees, etc.

In addition to your BOOKING CONFIRMATION, you will also receive email instructions for paying online. The booking confirmation will show the total amount of the reservation and is due in full within 3 days.

E-TRANSFERS

For those wanting to complete their transaction using E-TRANSFERS, instructions will be emailed separately. Please include the Confirmation Number in your E-Transfer. The full amount is due within 3 days of the BOOKING CONFIRMATION.

Obtain a number through the online ticketing system. This number will be your place in line. You will be asked to enter the number generated for you when you complete the online registration form. The online ticketing system will require you to enter your name, email address and phone number before a ticket will be generated.

STEP TWO

With your ticket number now in hand (or in your inbox), you may proceed to fill in the online registration form. As mentioned above, the ticket number is what secures your place in line for the registration process, giving you up to 59 minutes to fill in the registration form from time of issue.

The Organizers reserve the right to amend, postpone, change or cancel this event, in whole or in part.

Organizers also reserve the right to refuse or cancel participants without prejudice, justification or liability.
